Accounting Standards:

a guide to UK and International Standards

Eamon McNicholas, barrister and accountant

Publication date: May 2008

Price: £24.95 ISBN: 978 1904905 47 9

Modern accounting is increasingly complex and governed by a maze of detailed technical standards.

This book is specially written for those in business, the professions, tax or government who need to quickly understand or deal with an accounting issue. The profit and loss account or balance sheet, sales, work-in-progress, expenses, revenue vs. capital, leasing, financial instruments and more - the book allows the reader to go to just the topic they need to deal with.

All arranged in a handy format to give the non-accountant a quick guide to the key principles that underlie accounting rules and standards.
